About Us
The founder Ms Dapaah, originally began Bongo Bar by providing meals to the the public through a door to door service, working hard to build a home for her restaurant. Ms Dapaah has over 30 years experience of working in a kitchen, cooking not only authentic Ghanaian cuisine but also traditional English cuisine.
Bongo Bar currently has over 200 customers including those eating Ghanaian food for the first time to regular diners who treat Bongo as their "second kitchen".
Bongo Bar is situated right in the heart of North London and has been proudly serving in London from 2000. Since then, our mission has been to provide high-quality food for all those that wish to combine fun and enjoyable environment with traditional cooking into one extraordinary dining experience.
We have hopes of expanding as we continue to grow as a restaurant and with our community.
